Brief
Design a logo and strapline for Daily Catch; a start-up connecting customers directly to local food producers through their website and app.
Response
I began by distilling the brand down to it's core values - local, sustainable, fresh and personal. From this I developed a strapline encapsulating their unique selling point of allowing customers to know the story behind their food. From this, I was able to iterate various logo routes that denoted themes of personal connection and storytelling.
The client favoured a modern, vector style that would feel at home in a digital environment. I refined the mark and demonstrated how elements of the logo could be used to begin building repeating patterns and image boxes to form an identity.
